The Lake District and Cumbira have some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. However our environment is surprisingly fragile.

Nurture Lakeland works to protect wildlife, landscape and environment, improve access and support local communities. Our charity has continued to protect the Lake District landscape for the past 16 years, both in financial terms and through our pioneering conservation work.

Leaving a donation in your Will is one of the single most important acts you can do for the future of the Lake District and Cumbria. Every now and again our beautiful landscapes need a little help from their friends.

A gift for future generations

Every donation we receive is very important to us and really does help our work. Whatever amount you can give, it will be used to help protect this beautiful landscape for future generations.

You can give in two ways; a lump sum (Pecuniary legacy) or by giving a percentage (Residuary legacy) of your estate. The Residuary legacy allows your family and friends to be looked after first and the remaining amount is given to us to look after the landscape.
