Nurture Lakeland’s fundraisers play a vital role in supporting our conservation projects. We would love you to help protect the Lake District and Cumbria’s future forever.

You have probably already thought of a great fundraising idea that will knock the socks off any of the few suggested below. However, just in case, here they are…

• Organise a fun event at your local pub such as a quiz night or fancy dress evening
• Hold a jumble sale/car boot sale in aid of Nurture Lakeland
• Cakes always go down well, try baking cakes for your friends and
  family, yum!
• Maybe you are planning to compete in a fun run or something more challenging, a marathon perhaps? Friends and families love sponsoring per mile. It also gives you an incentive

There are plenty of other ideas, big and small, that will be brilliant as fundraising events. Remember, there is no limit on your idea (within reason) as long as you and everyone else have fun.

Many, many fundraising events have been tried and tested with some being easier to organise than others. The rule of thumb tends to be, keep it simple and have fun!
