Green accreditation enables you to benchmark your performance, set improvement targets and engage staff in the ethos of responsible tourism. We work with both the Green Tourism Business Scheme and the local Green at Heart scheme delivered by the Cumbria Business Environmental Network (CBEN).  Love Your Lakes

The incredible lakes that we have here are much loved by visitors, and their health and water quality are vital to our visitor economy. We sometimes forget the fragility of these waters, which are susceptible to blooms of toxic blue green algae due to phosphates entering the water from the sewerage system. Your business can help to reduce the input of phosphates and the likelihood of algal blooms by following the advice of our Love Your Lakes campaign.
