Broad How Featured

Broad How is a large, comfortable, seven-bedroom family house, built around 1830, in Patterdale at the head of Ullswater. Nestled between this Eastern and Far Eastern Fells, it was Patterdale that the famous guide-writer Alfred Wainright considered the loveliest of all the valleys. Over the years, this majestic scenery has inspired many artists and writers, including Wordsworth himself, who once owned the spot on which the house now stands.
