Grasmere is the home of Sarah Nelson’s Grasmere Gingerbread. You will, on visiting the village, discover The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop tucked away at the corner of the churchyard of St. Oswald’s Church. Built in 1630, the shop was originally the village school.

The droves of locals and visitors alike, and the wonderful aroma of freshly baked gingerbread, is enough to lead you inside this tiny shop!
