Rheged is home to a cinema screen the size of six double decker buses, showing spectacular movies daily. The grass covered building is also home to the National Mountaineering Exhibition, the new free Discovering Cumbria Exhibition and Cumbria information Centre.

Rheged's shops reflect the region, its activities, crafts people and producers. Eat Fresh food with a distinct Cumbrian emphasis. Children can let off steam with indoor soft play and creative workshops. Rheged is also the perfect venue for conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, evening functions and civil ceremony weddings and receptions. Entry to the building and parking is free for visitors.
