In a quiet corner of Grasmere village stands the Gold Rill Hotel. The hotel is owned and personally managed by Paul and Cathy Jewsbury. Just two minutes walk from the village centre, the hotel stands in an acre of beautifully tended gardens with an outdoor swimming pool and putting green.

Each of the hotel's delightful bedrooms has been individually designed with co-ordinated fabrics and wallpapers. En-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, a direct dial telephone, hairdryer, radio and colour television are standard in every room.

Most of the bedrooms also have wonderful views of the surrounding fells and some even have a lake view. The hotel has two guest lounges which have panoramic views of the surrounding fells. On chilly days there is a roaring log fire and a selection of board games or magazines to relax with.
