Hyggeby Lodge Featured

Hyggeby Lodge is an original Danish pine lodge situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park between the villages of Yanwath and Tirril. Situated in an elevated position with a light and spacious open plan living area, it offers stunning views from large picture windows to the Pennines across the Eden Valley.

Hyggeby Lodge is very easy to access, being just just three miles from junction 40 on the M6 and a short taxi ride or cycle from Penrith railway station. It is an excellent base for exploring the Lake District and North Pennines.

Ullswater is just 3 miles away and this area offers some of the best walking in the Lake District with the mighty Helvellyn range to the west of the lake and the remote High Street fells to the east. There is a wide range of walks available from challenging peaks to easier lakeside paths and valley rambles.

When it's time to unwind, you can relax and enjoy the unique Danish feeling of 'hygge'.
