Nurture Lakeland has an exciting range of volunteering opportunities to be involved in. Its a real chance to give something back to the beautiful environment that we live in, whilst developing new skills and meeting new people. Nurture Lakeland has a great opportunity for people to help fundraise for a local project.

We really need to get together 15 volunteers to help us do the right things for our environment. No specific skills are required to do this, just people who want to make a difference. We need people who are enthusiastic, confident in speaking to others and have good communication skills, whilst also demonstrating good organisational abilities.

Fundraising Assistants

This opportunity is based in Staveley Mill Yard and aims to add another fantastic ‘Miles without Stiles’ route in order to provide yet another accessible path for the less mobile and families. This position will be available from July 5 until July 11. The role will be directly involved in fundraising to raise money in order to give this attractive village another reason to visit. Our volunteers will be patrolling Mill Yard to inform members of the public of our aims and collecting for our ‘car park donations’ scheme when people wish to donate, whilst seeking to raise this money they’ll also champion Nurture Lakeland's cause.
