Ultimate Inspiration

ultimate trailsOn a cold and grey October day, an email pinged into Ruth's inbox bringing with it a warm blast of good feeling as though the summer sun had returned. Earlier this year, we were so pleased to announce that VO2 Max, organisers of the iconic Lakeland Trails series had joined our growing membership. As part of their commitment, owner Graham Patten, set about implementing voluntary donations through his online entries. And the great news contained in that email was that in just 5 months, participants in the Lakeland and Ultimate Trails have donated £1223.00!

The money will be supporting Fix the Fells, the programme that repairs and maintains our upland paths so that people can continue to enjoy their adventures in the hills. They say that 'where there's a will there's a way' and Graham has proved that implementing Visitor Giving in his events has provided a hugely successful 'way' of harnessing the tremendous 'will' that so many people have to protect our spectacular landscape. Inspiration indeed for you to rise to the challenge and get involved in Visitor Giving. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
