Reasons to be Cheerful 1 - 10,000

castlerigg-hall-campsite-1There are 10,000 reasons to say "hurrah" and "well done" and "what a wonderful effort" to long-standing and committed Nurture Lakeland member, David Jackson of Castlerigg Hall Camp Site and Caravan Park. And the biggest thanks of all come from our upland paths which are feeling so much the better for what he's achieved. And that is having reached the totally fabulous milestone of raising £10,000 for the Fix the Fells project through our Visitor Giving scheme.

David's generous campers, glampers, and caravaners make a voluntary donation when they book to stay at Castlerigg Hall in Keswick at a beautiful location overlooking stunning Derwentwater. It just goes to show that lots of small donations very soon add up to something truly tremendous. And the £10,000 donated by David's guests is making a real difference to looking after the Lakeland fells we all love.
If you haven't already, why not join David and his happy campers and set up Visitor Giving in your business? It's really so simple to do. To get involved, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
