Making a positive Impact

cragwoodKeeping it in the family, Nurture Lakeland members, Impact International have taken the lovely leap forwards towards setting up Visitor Giving in the hotel arm of the Impact family tree. Sister hotels Cragwood , Merewood and Briery Wood will soon be inviting guests to make a voluntary donation to support conservation in the Lake District. It’s a step along the sustainability road that fits neatly with the organisation’s values and ethos.

So what difference will the money raised make? Well, visitors will find they have a choice of where they want their donations to be directed. Whether they choose to Fix the Fells, Love Your Lakes or protect Red Squirrels, they can leave with that fuzzy feel-good glow that they’ve done something great for somewhere they love. So we’d like to welcome the Impact family into our Visitor Giving clan of members who, together, have raised over £2.2 million. Here’s to making a positive impact on conservation in Cumbria!
