Great result despite the recession

In the last six months our members have raised a fantastic £66,178.35.

This brings us to a grand total of £122,330.61 for the whole of the financial year 2009-10.

And with the match funding received from the Heritage Lottery Fund for projects such as Fix the Fells, the total value of your contributions adds up to £197,363 for the whole year.

I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a very impressive figure.

Thanks to all of you for your tremendous fundraising efforts and now you know what all those simple £1 donations add up to!

It just goes to show, even in difficult times, how loyal and generous our Lake District and Cumbrian visitors can be and just how much they value these fantastic landscapes of ours.

THANK YOU
