Whilst Nurture know those of you who commit to a range of responsible actions, how much does your visitor know and benefit from your sustainable commitments?
Nurture Eden hosted the 'Marketing Edge' workshop facilitated by Dr Xavier Font who gave recommendations and advice to participating businesses about the actions they can take to turn sustainability features into customer benefits. Xavier has now launched a new website, Responsible Tourism Communication, where he guides businesses through the who, why, what, where and when of communicating sustainability messages and importantly tells you how to do it. For further advice and support regarding Green Marketing members can access support and advice from Sustainable Tourism Advisor, Helen Moriarty, who is happy to support Nurture members in the process of celebrating green features via a new marketing approach. Tourism businesses are also welcome to join the Nurture Eden team at Rheged on the 18th of July to benefit from a marketing workshop and access the wealth of things to do in the Eden area.
